Attention Juniors and Junior Parents The deadline for registering for the May 4th SAT’s is April 5th If applicable, please register your child online via www.collegeboard.org. The last test date for SAT’s this school year will be June 1st which has a May 7th registration deadline. The next ACT test date is April 13th. Although the regular deadline has passed, you can still register your child by paying a late fee as long as you register by March 22nd. The last test date for ACT’s this school year is June 8th with a regular deadline of May 3rd. Please visit www.act.org for registration information. Junior Guidance counselors shared this information with your child in late January along with showing them an online SAT/ACT test prep site via waytogori. We also gave them two handouts that specifically discussed the differences between ACT’s and SAT’s. Hopefully your child shared this information with you! We hope to see all juniors and their parents next Wednesday at our Post-Secondary Planning Night. College reps, military reps, apprenticeship programs, trade/technical schools, and local employers will all be in attendance. We encourage all students to attend this event sponsored by the NKHS guidance department. In addition, we will be hosting a session designed specifically for juniors (and their parents) who are planning on attending college after graduation. |
