Calling all student-athletes

Welcome to another exciting school sports year!!! All paperwork that a student-athlete needs to participate in the interscholastic sports teams is available by clicking on the files below. Please click below to download the Assumption of Risk form along with the Physical and Student Participation Packet. These forms must be filled out and handed into the main office in order to tryout for any interscholastic school sports team. To all fall middle school athletes and their Parents a mandatory event will be held soon for all NK middle school students planning to participate in FALL athletics. A parent/guardian must accompany the student. The presentation addresses the Chemical Health and Student Safety Policy adopted by the School Committee and amended in June 09. The meeting will focus on the impact of alcohol and drugs on athletic performance and student potential. Any student who does not attend with a parent may not be allowed to play until they have attended a session.

All student athletes who have not attended the previous CHP presentation are required to attend this meeting so they are eligible to participate in tryouts.

 A copy of the chemical health policy can be found at the link listed below. A code of conduct form supporting the policy will be distributed and signed by parent and student athlete @ this meeting. * There will be a sign-in @ the end of the meeting. * This is a new requirement for the North Kingstown School District beginning 2009-2010 school year.
