turner

Pen turning is up and running. The seventh and eighth grade students are undertaking the manufacturing of quality handcrafted wooden pens to ship overseas to the soldiers defending our country. Students are very excited about this opportunity and are ready to start creating and designing both pens for the military and for themselves. It is fun and very rewarding to create one of these beauties!!!! Please click on the file below for some wood turning safety tips.

The pen turning process from start to finish.

This is our pen turning center. Students are making some very nice looking pens. Please checkout the slideshow below and be sure to take the advice of George Strait and "Write This Down"!!!!!
